Building on the question “Where is the value in academic publishing?", the SSP Pre-Conference will focus on the methods and tools that academic publishers must cultivate to successfully meet the challenges posed by ongoing disruption in the scholarly communications ecosystem. How do we keep innovating? How do we ensure our innovative solutions meet the needs of stakeholders in the academic publishing space? We will explore the needs of the main/traditional actors, and those of less-recognized stakeholders whose perspectives are now rightly receiving more attention. The Program for the SSP Pre-Conference is being prepared by the SSP Education Committee.
