Education & Training Course for Publishers, Information Specialists, Librarians and Students. Organised by Regine Reincke (Senior Publishing Editor, Springer, Dordrecht), Bas Straub (Director, Business Development, Elsevier Science, Amsterdam) and Arnoud de Kemp (APE 2013, Berlin).

 

Since seven years the APE Conferences start with a Pre-Conference Day on the Monday. This special day has been created for (mostly younger) publishers, librarians, information specialists and students of media, information science, publishing, bookselling and library courses, who want to get an update on what is going on in our world and to share information and experiences in an informal and international atmosphere. Participants enjoy a special discount of 20% if they also register for the APE 2013 Full Conference. Members of STM, ICSTI, ALPSP, Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels/AKEP and DGI enjoy a general discount of 25%. Group rates on request.
